Summer Club 2025
We are delighted to announce that Study Right will be running a two-week Summer Holiday Club this year, designed to provide children aged 9 to 15 with a rich, engaging and memorable experience over the break.
They will take part in exciting activities such as robotics and engineering projects, visits to local attractions, digital animation and design, and engaging science experiments. We will also be running problem-solving games and mini escape rooms to build teamwork and critical thinking skills in a fun, hands-on way.
Week Two shifts focus to creativity, with an immersive arts and crafts programme. Children will explore painting and drawing, clay modelling, and design their own tote bags. They’ll also take part in presenting their work, giving them the chance to build confidence, develop their imagination and work collaboratively in a relaxed, enjoyable environment.
Discount codes are available for siblings who are attending clubs together and can be applied at the time of registration. Please speak to centre staff for more details. Places are limited to 20 children per day to ensure quality and safety, and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If parents are eligible for tax free childcare you can receive money back on your childcare costs. Click here for more details or visit https://www.gov.uk/tax-free-childcare

Week 1
Monday - Ready, Set, Robots!
We'll kick things off with an introduction to robotics using micro-bit (or similar), as children build and program their own robots to navigate challenges. They'll also sharpen their minds with logic puzzles and strategy games.
Tuesday - Engineering and Electronics!
How tall can a spaghetti and marshmallow tower get? We'll put engineering skills to the test with a fun (and slightly wobbly!) building challenge. Later, children will get crafty creating their own neon-inspired light-up signs or planets, drawing inspiration from an exciting visit to God’s Own Junkyard.
Wednesday - Outdoor Exploration & Environmental Science!
We'll head to Walthamstow Wetlands for a day of orienteering and scientific exploration - collecting natural samples, examining them under microscopes, and learning about clean water through a hands-on filtration experiment.
Thursday - Sustainability & Design!
Kids will dive into eco-friendly architecture by designing and building model sustainable homes. They'll also create presentations and posters to share what they've learned about environmental responsibility.
Friday - Get Creative with Code!
To round off the week, children will carry on their coding adventure. Bringing them to life with interactive elements and creative characters - and, of course, testing out each other's games!
Week 2
Monday - Cultural Art & World Traditions
We’ll kick off the week exploring face masks from around the world - from African tribal art to elegant Venetian designs and expressive Japanese theatre masks. Children will then create their own using paper mache, diving into the stories and meanings behind each tradition.
Tuesday - Street Art & Personal Expression
After a local graffiti walk to see inspiring public artworks, children will design their own canvas masterpieces and share what moved them - learning that art can be bold, personal, and all around us.
Wednesday - William Morris & Creative Expression
We’re off on another inspiring trip - this time to the William Morris Gallery! Children will take part in a sketching session, capturing the unique style and themes of Morris’s work, while reflecting on its cultural significance. A calm, reflective day filled with art and inspiration.
Thursday - Fashion & Design Exploration
Creativity takes a stylish turn as kids build fashion mood boards and bring their ideas to life with block printing on tote bags, shirts, and fabric. They’ll learn how designers shape trends - and even try it for themselves!
Friday - Showcase & Reflection
The week wraps up with a gallery walk, where children display their work and celebrate each other’s creations. It’s a proud and joyful moment as they reflect on what they’ve made and what inspired them.
It’s going to be an incredible two week full of hands-on learning, innovation, and artistic exploration. We can’t wait to see what your children will create, discover, and accomplish!
