Why Holiday Clubs matter

More than childcare — learning that feels fun

We get it, school holidays are long. Children get bored. Screen time goes up. Our clubs give children a space to stay curious, creative, and connected — without it feeling like school.

At StudyRight holiday clubs small groups mean every child is seen, heard, and welcomed by name.

Sessions are designed as learning-through-doing: STEM builds, creative projects, debates, problem-solving — all the fun stuff that secretly strengthens confidence, literacy and reasoning. And because families come from the same neighbourhoods, children make real friendships, not just “holiday playmates.”

No pressure and no tests — just curious minds, supportive adults, and a space where learning feels natural.

A day in the life at a club

Wondering what a day at Holiday Club actually feels like? Here's what happens from drop-off to pick-up.

What a club feels like

Holiday Clubs at Study Right mix the buzz of creativity with the calm of small-group support.

Children step into a space that feels warm, familiar and full of possibility — guided by tutors who already know how to bring out their best. Every day blends hands-on activities, teamwork, and those confidence-building moments that happen when learning feels fun.

Here's what makes us different: Our tutors don't just supervise play—they teach, challenge, and guide discovery. Your child chooses how they want to work (independently, in teams, or one-on-one with a tutor), but they're always learning something new.

It's a week of curiosity, laughter, and proper exploration—all in the trusted environment you already know.

What a Typical Day Looks Like

Each day follows a simple structure so children feel secure, while still keeping things fresh and exciting:

  1. Morning Kick-Off
A creative warm-up or team challenge to get everyone talking and thinking.

  2. Main Activity Block
Hands-on projects (STEM builds, art, design, debates, puzzles) where children learn by doing — not by sitting still.

  3. Break + Social Time
Snacks, laughter, and low-pressure time to make friends from the neighbourhood.

  4. Mini Showcase
A chance for children to share something they made, discovered or solved — boosting confidence without the pressure of performance.

My daughter loved the STEM club... She looked forward to going there everyday. I liked was the way it was taught, as it was fun and engaging. Would definitely recommend it!

- Sal, Parent at Walthamstow

I liked the volcanos and how we designed them with the eruptions! I also liked the boats - my group cooked. I made lots of new friends

- Zayd Khan, STEM week student

I liked STEM week because the volcanos were cool and I liked it when we played kahoot :)

- Ibrahim Khan from STEM week student

I enjoyed the debate the most as it was controversial topic that made you see different views whilst understanding why some may choose the other arguments!
