From uncertain student to confident doctor
I first joined Study Right at the start of secondary school, unsure of what to expect and slightly overwhelmed by the transition into a new academic environment. From the moment I began, the tutors made it clear that I was entering a place where my potential genuinely mattered. Study Right quickly became more than just a tuition centre; it became the foundation of my academic journey.
During my early years, particularly around Year 9 and Year 10, I struggled with confidence in key subjects. The tutors were always patient, supportive, and committed to helping me progress. I still remember one day during a particularly challenging period of revision.
“I was close to giving up on a topic that felt impossible, but a simple, encouraging comment from Hamza reminded me that I was capable of far more than I believed. That reassurance stayed with me throughout the years that followed.”
GCSEs were an intense and demanding time, but Study Right played a crucial role in helping me stay focused and prepared. Every session was structured, every lesson felt purposeful, and every tutor made it clear that they were invested in my success.
“Instead of feeling lost in the pressure, I learned how to break down difficult topics, manage my workload, and approach exams with confidence.”
When results day arrived, my achievements reflected not only hard work, but also the consistent support and guidance I received.
A-Levels were an even greater challenge, especially as I began working towards my goal of studying medicine. The workload increased, expectations were high, and there were moments when I questioned whether I could reach the standard needed. Study Right stood by me throughout. The tutors continued to push me, reassure me, and help me develop the resilience required to succeed. The encouragement I received—whether through detailed feedback, structured revision plans, or quiet words of motivation—made a significant difference.
When my offer for medical school came through, it felt like the culmination of years of steady guidance and belief. Looking back now as a doctor, I can confidently say that Study Right shaped my academic journey in a profound way. It gave me discipline, structure, and the confidence to aim high. It taught me how to work through challenges rather than shy away from them. And it surrounded me with tutors like Hamza, Ali and Abu who consistently believed in me, even at times when I struggled to believe in myself.
“Study Right didn’t just support my education—it helped build the person I am today. I entered as a quiet, uncertain student, and left fully prepared to pursue a future in medicine. For that, I will always be grateful.”

Our Partnership with the Tamani Foundation

We are honoured and proud to support the incredible work of the Tamani Foundation, a grassroots community organisation based in Matemwe, Zanzibar.
For years, Tamani has been deeply embedded in its local community, creating meaningful opportunities for children, young people, and families through education and skills development.
As part of our commitment to community-led impact, StudyRight provided laptops and computers to strengthen Tamani’s learning infrastructure. During our visit, we spent time on the ground helping to set up the new equipment and supporting several of their inspiring initiatives. It was a privilege to witness first-hand how closely our missions align: expanding opportunities for young people, uplifting local communities, and ensuring education remains accessible, purposeful, and transformative.
What stood out most was the dedication of the Tamani team—staff who pour their energy into nurturing talent, upskilling local residents, and empowering them to become future educators. We were grateful for the opportunity to share guidance when helpful and to contribute our expertise in a hands-on, practical way.
Our collaboration with the Tamani Foundation reflects the heart of StudyRight’s values: community, opportunity, and purposeful education. We look forward to continuing to support their vital work and learning from the strength of their community-driven model.

"I love teaching at StudyRight because I get to build real relationships with students over time. Watching a Year 11 student finally crack a concept they've struggled with all term – that's why I teach."
- Abdullahi Bodleh, Student
“Saved my academic career and gave me the tools to be a leader in my community. Would recommend highly.”
